One of the most unique on-property amenities at Rose Hill is the Rose Hill Sporting Clays Range.
Within easy walking distance of the Rose Hill Manor House, the Sporting Clays Center is no ordinary range. It has been featured on ESPN Outdoors and is home to the Rose Hill Sporting Clays Challenge, one of the country’s most elite shooting tournaments.
The Range has its own center under the management of Rose Hill farm manager Larry Corbett, whose knowledge of sporting clays is vast, but who also has the patience and demeanor to make all feel welcome. Despite his unassuming manner, Larry is a world-champion sporting clays shooter.
Our sporting clays participants range from those with annual membership who come every week to those who are first-time guests at Rose Hill for a wedding or business retreat.
Guests have the option of automated shooting facilities featuring Skeet and Trap, for both the novice as well as the experienced sports shooter. The Range’s staff can provide guns, ammunition, instruction and mandatory eye and ear protection.
Sporting Clays memberships are also available on an annual basis or can be tailored for your group’s visit.
For the ultimate gamesman experience, the Rose Hill Hunting Preserve can be reserved for seasonal quail and pheasant hunts for your group. The Preserve is available for both guided and unguided hunts and can be tailored to your individual preferences and needs.
