Banquet Event Manager*
The Banquet Manager will provide leadership and direction in the planning, coordination and directing of events at RHCC according to customer needs.
To plan and prepare meals; supervise and coordinate the work of and kitchen staff to ensure food preparation is economical and technically correct; assist Executive Chef in the purchase of food and paper supplies; assist the Executive Chef in the set up and execution of scheduled events. Reports to the Executive Chef and General Manager at Rose Hill. Among the specific job duties are (1) to cook and check poriton sizes, garnish foods, create special dishes; instruct cooks and kitchen employees in the fine points of cooking; test cooked food by smelling or tasting (2) to work side by side with the Executive Chef to maintain proper par levels with food and execute nightly and monthly inventories; properly set up cooking stations and action equipment to ensure functions go smoothly (3) consult with the Executive Chef concerning the menu, banquets and meetings, food preparation, room set up, number of guests and serving arrangements; maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and staff.
Prepare and serve quality beer, wine, mixed alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered by guests following standard recipes. (Must be over 21)
Serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality service, and assist in the preparation of and clean up after events or functions.
Assist in serving the guests in a friendly and courteous manner while maintaining the highest standards of qualify service, and assist in the preparation of and clean up after events or functions.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items while maintaining the highest standards of quality, and assist in the preparation of and clean up after events or functions.
Maintain supply of clean dishes and assist kitchen cleanup using proper sanitation rules.
Banquet Setup Person
Responsible for setting up and cleaning Rose Hill facilities/areas for functions to the highest standards in Rose Hill’s continuing efforts to deliver outstanding guest service.
